What brought you to CO & how long have you been here?

My sister and her boyfriend were looking to rent a room out so I took them up on that offer haha, I was ready to finally leave my college town. That was about 9 months ago. What about you?

Classic. Once you're here it's hard to leave! I've been on the east coast my whole life but did a lot of hiking/ camping/ traveling out west when I was younger. I was itching for some real outdoors so I drove across the country 3 months ago, found a job & couldn't have made a better choice for myself

Haha definitely, l've loved it here so far. Where are you from originally? And what do you do for work?

Originally from D.C. area, went to college in CT then lived there for a few years after before moving here. My background is environmental nonprofit, but I just started a job with an education nonprofit in Denver. What about you?

That's awesome, I'm sure that's really rewarding. I grew up in Chicago before going to the University of Arizona. I actually still work for the Arizona based company that I've been with for 2.5 years now as a software developer. We make a variety of tools for small businesses

Oh awesome! So do you work remotely then?

Yeah I work out of a coworking space here, It's a cool company to work for. What part of Denver do you live in?

Oh that's great! I worked out of a coworking space in New Haven (CT) and loved it. Good productive, creative environment! I've been living with a friend in Broomfield but I'm looking to move to NW denver now. Are you living with your sister and her boyfriend?

That's awesome, most people don't even know what a coworking space is haha. My sister actually manages a different coworking space too. That's cool, college friend? Yeah I live with them it's worked out nicely

Actually a family friend who grew up with my stepmom. Very reassuring to have a landing pad though while I figure things out. Sounds like you've got a pretty sweet setup too 😬 What have you liked most about moving to Colorado?

After living in the desert for almost 6 years, just having the seasons and more nature. I've been running a lot again and planning to do some half marathons, and get to pick up my new bike tomorrow 😄 it sounds like nature was your biggest reason to come here?

Yeah -- nature and just the vibe of people in general. But also the trails! I'm a runner too; I ran competitively in high school and college and am SO retired now. I absolutely love and enjoy my runs now a lot more than I used to. Soft surfaces everywhere!!

I'm a little exhausted because I've been cramming all of my free time with housing research and scheduling showings etc. I just wanna have it set asap.

I did! It’s beautiful. I haven’t ridden it much yet though, just around the neighborhood a bit.

Those are both great ideas! 🐳 I'm a super marine science nerd! 🤓 have you been there before? I think it's open until 9? What plan makes sense to you? I can leave work at 5:30 or earlier if need be. Also could wait until later. Or go somewhere after aquarium. Idk if dinner + aquarium is a lot or not. 🤷‍♀️ 🍴 Decisions are not my strong suit because I pretty much like everything. 🤦‍♀️🙇‍♀️
